Phoenix is one of only 12 cities to have teams in all four major sports leagues.  Other team sports include arena football, women's basketball and soccer.   The Phoenix metropolitan area also has the distinction of being the only place in the country to host an entire spring-training league for the MLB, the Cactus League.  Other major sporting events include PGA golf, NASCAR racing and several major marathons including the Phoenix Marathon and the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon.
